Dude, Linux Mint is totally rad and works with tons of GPUs, including Nvidia ones like the EVGA GeForce RTX 3050 8GB. Linux Mint comes with the open-source Nouveau driver by default, which should work fine with your GPU. However, for the best performance and features, I recommend using the proprietary Nvidia drivers. You can easily install them through the "Driver Manager" in Linux Mint's menu. Just keep in mind that with any Nvidia GPU, you may occasionally run into some issues, but Linux Mint's awesome community and forums will have your back to help you sort it out.
