What web-browser(s) do you use and why?

I was a Firefox user since it first started, some years back I thought I'd had enough of Firefox. Then I switched to Vivaldi and then switched to Chromium and switched between those two a few times, to then end up back on Chromium. I still have Firefox installed in case I want to test something on it. I was curious to see how the experience is, so I configured it with everything I have setup with Chromium. Just having gone through the settings and using it for a bit, it's not a bad web-browser but after having used Chromium for so long I just still like it better than Firefox and the theming is done better as it can use the system GTK theme making it look as a part of my system.

So there's my reason why I'm using Chromium, I was looking for a reason to maybe switch to Firefox again but don't think I will again. So I just thought it would be fun to start a topic where people can share what web-browser(s) you use and why?

chromium because Tidal web player works with it better than with firefox. i were firefox user for a many years, but Tidal made me to change browser.

I Use a vast variety of browsers..

I used to use duckduckgo on Windows for obvious reasons, and still have to work with it on my Pop's work PC. I use Brave on my fedora install, as it takes up less ram in my "Poor Man's Conky". On my MX-+Flux install on my Inspiron, I used vivaldi as the RAM is limited on that machine. (2GB)
on a various set of VMs, it's mostly FF as I just don't care that much as I don't use them that often.

I just rediscovered Seamonkey! The "true heir of Netscape," it does what both Firefox and Thunderbird do but with thousands fewer lines of code and far less demand on resources.

Unlike Vivaldi though, it's free and open-source software. While Seamonkey shares some code with Firefox and Thunderbird, it is not a Mozilla project - only hosted on their website (for now). That matters to me because Mozilla is at least as much an advertising company as it is a software maker, and self-described as "a global group of activists" with social and political agendas which influence the software too much.

I find that if I simply add an S to "http" (making it "https://"), it works on every website I've visited so far. I even got uBlock Origin to work on it simply by using an older version of the add-on.

I've been using Firefox just because it's what came with Ubuntu.
