VPN Setup

Very intrigued by Linux Mint 17 but I cannot configure it to work with my PureVPn. I have internet access and have tried several tutorials along with the PureVPN instructions without success. I cannot install and use Linux without a VPN. Please point me toward a detailed tutorial or make suggestions. |Thanks Frank

geeeeezzzzz! I didn't realized that my question was so difficult that no one would have an answer. Doesn't anybody run a VPN on Linux? I'm using PureVPN.

Didn't mean to sound confrontational and yes I have tried that tutorial. I have downloaded Mint again and will try to install it as the only OS, just to see if I can get the VPN setup.
