Solved VM stuck in login loop_Not Enough Virtual Disk Storage Space? Something else?

It appears that the sign in loop was caused by inadequate storage, but I'm going to wait to close this thread. I'm downloading the Zoom Workplace App for Debian. If I experience problems I'll update this thread.

BTW

Even with reduced resources LMDE is running very well, maybe better than LM 22 .1 with all the resources available...

*Should I defrag the virtual disk?​

So far everything looks good. Everything is updated, firewall on, no SnapShots!
Disk Usage Analyzer shows 90.7 GB available.
The virtual disk is formatted with EXT4. From my days with the Giant I would say the virtual HDD needs to be defragged. There doesn't seem to be consensus on defragmenting drives formatting using EXT4.

Never defrag any Linux it just doesn't need it.

Exactly...Linux doesn't spit out fragmented files like windoze...never defrag an SSD either because it will kill it.

Right now I'm not sure if the virtual machine doesn't recognize my camera or not. Maybe it the OS. I don't know....

This problem is 'solved'. The login loop appears to have been caused by inadequate storage.

The webcam problem was a simple one to fix. In the header menu under devices I gave the VM access to the USB port that it was plugged into and then gave the VM access to the webcam.

There haven't been any noteworthy problems since then. The Zoom problem appears to be solved.

For me 'solved' means:

• Zoom behaves the way I need it to. I can chair and host large meetings that are prone to bombers and trolls. I have access to the tools I need to manage participants. I can easily isolate the trolls and remove trolls before they get out of hand.
• Regardless of Zooms cooperation, it won't cause problems everywhere else.
• If I don't feel like dealing with Zoom, I don't have anymore.
