Ultra Widescreen Monitor 29"

I have an LG 29" 21:9 monitor and it works great in Window$ at 2560 x 1080

my 27" widescreen works great in Both at 1920 x 1080

but my LG 29 Ultra widescreen doesn't work properly in Linux at that resolution

anyone else encounter this?

What desktop environment? You probably need to setup HiDPI settings or something like that.

have you checked the display settings or the NVIDIA driver settings?

I have, mabey my video card is not liked by Linux for that resolution
