touchpad not working in Ubuntu 18.04

i am using lenovo ideapad 330 with Ubuntu 18.04 . after the extending the RAM touchpad suddenly stop working can any one help me on the same.

i have just update kernal but still getting same problem

What kernel did you end up with?

uname -r

An what other kernels do you have onboard?

ls /boot/vmlinuz*

In that article @arochester linked to, there was an answer featuring Ukuu, did you try that one?

Ukuu is the Ubuntu Kernel Update Utility and is delivered by Tony George, who also does Timeshift.
