I grew up in New England, Northeast U.S., not England/U.K. I have spent a lot of time in Scotland and England, and yes, the pubs, the Bitter, and Ale there are great! Wish I were there right now! ;^)

The term "Redneck" seems to be of Scottish origin. See the Wikipedia article:

Wow..... ._. Do I feel stupid..... Still, you've BEEN to there, at least..... You live here, yet I should have guessed by the lexicon you use, and the way you spell using American English........ Still, I had no IDEA that that term began in a Country where the Scottish part of my Blood comes from..... :3 And in a COOLER, less SUNNY place no doubt........
