I had issues to install openSUSE Leap 16.0 on my machine but fortunately I could install it. I just needed to use another flash drive to make it bootable.
So I was trying to boot from another flash drive that apparently got corrupted or just died because I probably had formated it too many times but I decided to grab an old flash drive of mine to ./flash_SUSE_on-it and it worked (I was hoping it would not work again).
Also, a quick note here. I don't know of it's my machine or if it is me but I first tried to copy/paste the SUSE .iso file into the 'corrupted' flash drive (because it had a capacity of 128GB) but even tough everything worked out just fine, when I tried to boot up the SUSE installation media, it crashed, just a few seconds after I clicked on the button to get to the YaST installer if I'm not mistaken.
Do you guys know what could possibly cause this error because as I followed the instructions online, I did everything exactly as I was supposed to do it (I even tried to use ventoy on 2 flash drives), the one that I just noticed that is kinda dead and the old one I have (8GB) that still works.
At the end I used balena etcher to format the entire pendrive for openSUSE Leap 16.0 and I worked out just fine.
