Hi,
Im completely new to linux, so bare with me but i hoping someone can help.. I recently installed linux mint, everythings great apart from youtube videos. They seem to stutter and not download properly. I put this down to the fact mint wasn't utilising my graphics card, its an old graphics card but i dont game or anything.. Anyway I ended up installing AMDGPU-PRO which has completely killed the system, it wont even boot up, so Im guessing this was the wrong driver package to install. Does anyone know if its possible to install this card in mint. I found this thread from 2 years where it mentions having support for the 530 series, so I was hoping by now theyd have gone down to 520. But I cant seem to work out if they have.
Major thanks for any help, its a great system but unusable if I cant go on youtube tbh
Thanks
Mike
