Solved Problem setting up avatar

I'm trying to set my avatar in Account details -> Edit profile banner
Problem is that the image I want to set up is too big so it looks like this:

What I tried is to reduce the size of the image to 60x60 in gimp however it doesn't help because now the only difference is that resolution is worse but the image is still large:

here is how my avatar should look like, this is the actual image I want to set up but it's interpreted as show above:

this should work, go to link and open, then save image to desktop, and upload from desktop to your profile [I have reduced it to 100x90 for avatars]

Thank you for resizing it!
I just now figured out I needed to "Click the image to change your avatar."

But I was clicking on "edit profile banner" instead lol
