P3 256 ram HELP

Hi friends,
i am new in this forum and i am new too in the word of linux.
I have a question,
i have got a laptop evo n400c pentium3 850 with 256 ram and 8mb video.
I need to use this computer, only for surfing in internet "to read,to see some video".
Now, what i can install on my laptop?
I thinked antiX because he need just 128 mb ram..

Puppy would work, too..... :3 Or TinyCore....... :D
 
i have just installed Antix and
it is very slow on the webpage,
for exmaple for to enter here i had to wait 10 minutes..
And when i use the antix explorer, the hard disk always load..
I do not have installed nothing more.
What can be? May i have to install the video driver?
Is possible that a p3 256 ram 8m video is too "poo" for Antix?

Do you mean that there's a loading animation on the Antix Cursor when you open the File Manager, or that the HDD is making those little loady-noises.....? :) Also, in the case of the Websites, it may just be your Wi-Fi..... :) Also, though I HOPE it's not the case, it may be that your HDD is going bad.... And that also SUCKS........ :(

Some of the new Pups have gone away from the streamlined small quality releases of the past for example Tahrpup has had may serious bugs reported especially Xorg problems.

Frankly LinuxBBQ is more minimalist and is more stable. Better wirless connectivity with ceni. wireless with Puppy can be very hit and miss as this the Package Manager with what we call the double dip problem with dependencies.

LinuxBBQ is Debian based so been using Apt-get much easier.

Hence the change. There are some things going on with the community which aren't to good either.
