I agree 100% with this. I find it amazing how kids can act so horribly and the parents are either oblivious to it, or just simply ignore it. (And yes, I had a kid, and he was well behaved in public. It's not hard to accomplish.)
 
It's not hard to accomplish.

We used to say that it takes a village to raise a child.

However, I think many younger people with children have taken that too far. They want the village to do all of the work and refuse to be parents.

I have two adult children. Both are happy, healthy, and productive. I did my job well. For quite a bit of it, I was the custodial parent.
