MySQL / Apache / PHP

    Do you think it's vital to update these 3 as soon as an update is released? I notice a lot of hosts delay updating Apache and PHP due to compatibility issues. What are your thoughts on this matter?

    be sure

    I always try to keep them as up to date as possible, but you should always tread carefully and test before your upgrade to be sure that it won't cause any major issues. You could even test on a local machine if need be, and it's never a bad idea to read the change logs.

    Yes, I always tend to read the changelog no matter what, since I find it interesting some times.
