Hi, I`m new here, reading this forum and learning about linux and like it.
I have some experience with Ubuntu from 10+ years ago.
I have two questions:
1. Is it Lenovo ThinkPad L570 laptop/i5-7200U/256SSD/8GB DDR4 good enough for multiboot from several linux distributions
2. Can you suggest a tutorial for making a clean linux multiboot (no windows)

1. i have a thinkpad T430s with a much older i5 that multiboots multiple distributions (distros) just fine. at present it is running linux mint 20.3 xfce and also has mx linux 21 xfce installed. it has had at least 4 distros installed at once before.
2. a quick web search didn't produce any great tutorial. the first install would usually wipe the disk for running just the one distro. sometimes the installer for the second one will offer to "install alongside", but that may depend on the distro.

i find multibooting to be easier just using uefi so i tend to set my bios/uefi settings to uefi only to make sure the installer doesn't boot in legacy/mbr mode instead.

Have a read here.

Read the whole article...it will tell you how to change the boot order to the Ventoy usb....so that your pc always boots to it and you can then choose which one you wish to open.

I use a 32gb usb stck....so there are lots of choices.
