Hello Linux.org.,
For those who may be interested I just installed Lubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa).
I did run into a bit of a snag with getting the Wifi adapter to work which is typical with most laptops in my experience.
Two separate Wifi adapters onboard and couldn't get either one of them to work which is why I hate laptops and Wifi adapters.
OH well after enough frustration I dug through my box of spare parts and found a Realtek RTL8188EUS Wireless Network Adapter.
I plugged the usb Wifi adapter in and restarted the laptop and had an internet connection and from there the install went without a hitch.
I've always liked Lubuntu with LXDE desktop however Lubuntu 20.04 is LXQT desktop and it's a lot different so a new learning curve at the moment.
Everything seems to work well so I'll give it a workout and see how I like it.
Yeah I know @poorguy using a laptop wonders never cease.
The 12 year old laptop Lubuntu 20.04 is installed on.

Lubuntu 20.04 Review: Lightweight, Minimalistic, Polished
Lubuntu 20.04 LTS is significantly different than its previous LTS version. It is aiming to give you a more polished experience rather than just focusing on older computer. Read more about it as I review Lubuntu 20.04. Lubuntu 20.04 Review: First LTS release with LXQt I have
