Linux Mint on a Microsoft Surface Pro. Touchscreen not working

Ive been given a MS Surface Pro 7 that had a windows explorer / blackscreen problem. Rather than reinstall Windows, I've put Linux Mint 21.3 on it. The only issue I have is that the touchscreen doesn't work. It's not the end of the world, but it would be good to get it working so I can use it for digital art. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
