Kodachi OS 10: Dashboard and License Changes @everyone

Starting with Kodachi OS 10, features will be organized more clearly based on the license tier.

Free users will receive:
• Circle Dashboard
• Lite Dashboard, merged with Advanced
• Access to the shared free server

Premium and Dedicated users will receive:
• Circle Dashboard
• Lite Dashboard, merged with Advanced
• ColonyOps Dashboard
• SOC Dashboard
• Access to premium servers
• A dedicated web dashboard to manage licenses, devices, activation status, expiration dates, downloads, and server access

Free users will still retain the same core privacy, security, routing, and system capabilities. Kodachi OS 10 will not remove the essential functionality available to free users.

The main difference is the experience. Premium and Dedicated users will receive the advanced dashboards, better infrastructure, premium servers, license management tools, and a smoother, more enjoyable way to control and use Kodachi.

Kodachi OS 10 is being designed so that free users remain fully capable, while paid users receive the convenience, polish, performance, and advanced experience that their license supports.

From Warith
There is no official press release for Linux Kodachi 10 yet, but I can share a small early preview.

What users should expect: Kodachi 10 will bring major dashboard, GUI, workflow, and code improvements. The Advanced dashboard has now been merged with the Lite dashboard, so Kodachi is moving toward one stronger unified dashboard. There is also a new dashboard concept currently called Colony Ops, with a cleaner design direction that matches the new Kodachi website.

Expected release date: I do not want to give a fixed date yet. It will be released when it is stable enough, not just when it looks ready.

Will Kodachi 9 be similar to Kodachi 10? They will share the same privacy and security direction, but Kodachi 10 will bring major changes in the interface, workflow, dashboard structure, and internal code.

Why so early after Kodachi 9? Kodachi 9 was not a small release. From the first Kodachi 9 release in February until now, it has had around 26 releases, making it one of the most actively updated Kodachi versions since the project started. The calendar gap may look short, but the amount of work, patches, bug fixes, and improvements was very high.

Also, Kodachi 10 can move faster because Kodachi 9 already built the foundation. The Rust backend services, routing logic, authentication flow, VPN, Tor, DNS systems, and dashboard base are already there. Kodachi 10 is building on top of that, not starting from zero.

Kodachi 9 end of life: I do not plan to release new Kodachi 9 ISOs anymore. However, users already running Kodachi 9 should be able to update to Kodachi 10 through the binaries when it is ready. That said, I still recommend downloading and using the fresh Kodachi 10 ISO once it is released, because a clean ISO is always the safest and most reliable path for a major version upgrade.

I cannot reveal everything yet, but this is an early exclusive preview. You are welcome to share it on your website if you want.
