I do not know English very well and Windows does not support Mongolian Language which makes using it somewhat confusing. What Linux distribution has the best support for Mongolian? I tried looking through many distros and most of them do not have it listed as an option.

Welcome to the forums
There are keyboard and language packs for Mongolian, probably the best for you to start with is Ubuntu [or Ubuntu based mint ]

Im looking for one where the UI is in Mongolian.

if you choose the Mongolian language in Ubuntu as you install it , you should be able to change the keyboard settings to Mn

This is related to desktop environment rather than distro, I've taken a look into KDE and see no Mongolian display language.
If KDE doesn't have it it's unlikely GNOME does.

But I've found this, maybe you can make use of it, don't know how well it is supported:

Personally I would go with Fedora, but to each his own.

To add or switch to Mongolian language in KDE on Fedora 42, follow these steps:

Install the Mongolian Language Pack
You’ll need to install the KDE language pack for Mongolian:

- Open a terminal and run:

sudo dnf install kde-l10n-mn

If kde-l10n-mn is not available, try:

sudo dnf install langpacks-mn

Change Language in KDE System Settings
Once the language pack is installed:

1. Open System Settings.
2. Go to Regional Settings → Language.
3. Click Add languages....
4. Find Mongolian in the list and add it.
5. Drag Mongolian to the top of the list to make it the primary language.
6. Click Apply.
7. Log out and log back in to see the changes take effect.

Adjust Formats (Optional)
To match Mongolian regional formats:

  • Go to Regional Settings → Formats.
  • Either select a preset for Mongolia or click Detailed Settings to customize:
- Date/time format
- Currency
- Number formatting

Click Apply when done.

Verify System Locale (Optional for CLI Tools)**
To ensure CLI tools also reflect the change:

- Check current locale:

localectl status

- Set system-wide locale:

sudo localectl set-locale LANG=mn_MN.UTF-8

To change keyboard

sudo localectl set-x11-keymap mn

To verify the change.

localectl status

(You may have to reboot)

There is Soyombo Mongolian Linux a distribution based on debian, Morphix. The Soyombo project, based in the Mongolian Republic, aims to create a Mongolian language distribution of Linux with full support for writing Mongolian both in Cyrillic and in traditional scripts for Mongolian, including Soyombo script, Clear script, and the classical Mongolian script https://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=soyombo (but on Distrowatch Soyombo is discontinued, last update: 2025-05-17 18:09 UTC)
