Been there see it done it many times, especially when I started playing with Linux as there were few forums and most of what there were, were elitist and unwelcoming to beginners. Now we are in happier times when instead of keeping Linux a closed community, we actively promote itYou're not doing anything that hundreds of thousands of other new Linux users haven't done over the years. We've ALL been there at some point. It's a "rite-of-passage"
