job interview question

Hello I am new here. I had job interview question today and I am not sure about the answer. It is like traineeship so whole interview was a bit funny. So this is a question:
"Monitoring system has informed you that root password on server has been changed. What do you do ?"

What I should have said for that?

I have applied for client service in hosting provider company
