Is there any software that can completely edit Adobe Illustrator files?

At least I know it runs on Zorin. Could be my hardware, poor thing is old and way underpowered to do most graphics work. I know I used RapidRaw on it and it was pretty snappy, but I was hoping it would run affinity so I could try our files for our clothing and advertising business.
