Is it worth making my own Linux distribution, or just going through the suffering of making my own?

I havent written in a while soooo...
I am getting really close to being able to finally make a demo video I have learned a lot of stuff as of right now
Im now just trying to make it more usable, as:
it boots
mouse works
cmd app works

so now im just trying to get it more functional
Probably will post with video in like 1 or 2 days idk :>

might post back in like a month or so? idk i just dont want to post about a single line change and instead post multipule changes some time

If it's a video, why not post it on Youtube and share the link to the video here? Opening a file from a zip file from a stranger is not something many people will do now days?

I don't think you should suffer your own distro. There are plenty you can choose.

Take a fresh copy of your favorite distro, exchange a few apps for others (Librewolf instead of Firefox, for example; or Evolution instead of Thunderbird), change the name and wallpapers and bingo! Padawan Linux, Best Distro in the History of Ever!

It happens all the time. Padawan Linux won't make me rich or famous, and I can't afford a domain name, web site, forums, and all that, but hey - I officially became a "Linux Developer," right? Now people will respect me!

There may be some good reasons for making yet a whole 'nother Linux distro, like filling a niche that is aimed at a particular use, such as media-editing, forensics, bible study, aviation, something like that. But if you check, I bet you'll find there are already a lot of those niche distros as well. Better to support an existing one.

People tend to do a better job at something they don't need to take credit for.
