I bought a new Dell desktop Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon already loaded, Brave browser already loaded. I've just been through my old "Terminal use" thread to get everything working. Much easier this time around. I have everything working except access to Ledger Wallet (formally Ledger Live). I went to their web page and I'm totally confused. Can someone give me step by step instructions that I might be able to understand?

What have you done so far? Err.. what's the roadblock? I used to have Ledgers (used it when it was ledger live) and now i'm using Trezor.. one thing you want to do though is:
(from ledger's site .. it says)
wget -q -O - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/LedgerHQ/udev-rules/master/add_udev_rules.sh | sudo bash

The script adds udev rules to to your system that tell Linux to recognize and allow access to Ledger devices when you plug them in via USB.

If you have their UI set up, but your system isn't recognizing the Ledger device when you plug it in, this is the fix.

I don't think you understand. I have no problem with my device. The problem I have is I don't know how to install Ledger Live, which is now called Ledger Wallet on my new machine.

Your link is much better than mine. I downloaded and installed the Ledger Live wallet but it doesn't seem to recognise my my Ledger Nano S Plus. So it looks like I have the problem you described in your first response.

Did you follow the step 2. wget ... from the guide @Rob linked? If yes, what's the output of lsusb after you plug in the Nano? (Note the step is without sudo.)

I don't know how to follow step 2. That's why I said step by step. Maybe a screen shot. I have no idea what I'm doing. Don't remember how I did it last time. Sorry for being so dim.

I don't know how to follow step 2.
My bad, I mixed up the links. I was referring to step 2 of the link you posted yourself, i.e. the Linux installation instructions under https://support.ledger.com/article/4404389606417-zd

If you compare the step, it is what Rob was quoting to you in post #2. At the same time I now see it is also the last step in the "graphical installation" you followed.

It instructs to open the terminal application, copy the wget command into it and hit enter. This step is supposed to install the necessary rules for the system to recognise your Ledger device as such.

Hello admins and others. Linux newbie here with similar problem installing Ledger Wallet.
I got the appimage downloaded. But I qet errors trying with this line :
sudo add-apt-repository universe<br>sudo apt install libfuse2

I saw the note to perhaps change the libfuse2 to 3 but still get an error. Here's today's attempt. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
