"ifconfig eth0" process

Hello i found process "ifconfig eth0" running. And it is using CPU
I remember i did such command before around 24 hours
but im not sure why it is there running..? is it safe to kill it? Thank You

hi you can use only ifconfig to know your ip address of eth0

Hello

Generally you would leave that alone unless you are having connection issues. It is the script that runs your settings for your wire network connection. Killing it will disconnect your from the internet if I remember correctly
