HP Dragonfly G3 webcam

Hello,
I just installed Ubuntu 22.10 on a HP Dragoinfly Elite G3 (2023). Everything works approximately well EXCEPT the camera!

Here are some data:

in inxi webcams are shown under USB code inxi -J
1] check you have cheese installed [in the software manager]
2] I have come across a hard lock on some new laptops [acts similar to flight mode on network manager] this is a security thing, to stop remote access to the camera when not in use, check the hand book to see if you have one and how to enable/disable it

0) problem comes from Intel IPU6 webcam as far as I know
1) cheese is installed, and reported to be problematic with those cams
2) there is a hard lock, which can be disabled by a key on keyboard, or from bios
All that already tried... but still stuck

You could try doing a pass-through of your webcam to a Windows vm using Virtualbox.

Problem: does virtulabox use win11 drivers and has acces to harware directly? Is paravirtualization for that purpose?

But I have no idea how to use it (the 2 GitHub links).
Id the problem is IPU6-cameras, it will be a real problem since Intel is not going to sell only one card with this new idea...
