How to connect Windows Host Machine with Kali Linux VM via LAN?

Hello there,
I am new to Linux based OS, I tried Kali today and I was wondering how can i connect the windows host machine with kali via LAN and be able to ping each other.

Depends what type of networking you have configured but my guess is you are probably using NAT with your vm so than all you have to do is ping the gateway and you will be pinging the host. Aside from that if you are new to Linux why are you using Kali? Using Kali isn't going help you learn how to hack or be a hacker, instead learn Linux basics first so that you understand the system, as well as basic networking(which your question is) and then you can start learning the tools Kali comes with.
