help with YARA

Hi All,
i'm new here so please be gentle with me lol.

i'm looking for IOC Scanner for Ubuntu.
i've tested LMD (linux malware detect) and it's working great.
my question is how i can add manual YARA db ?
and how to create YARA db ?
the information on GITHUB is very poor

Yara is available from Repository, either by itself or included in the meta package " forensics-all".
