Having Trouble Finding Android-Linux Download Link

Looking for a link in search to be able to have this system communicate with my Android phone so I can get images/movies off phone.

Only asking because I'm not the sharpest pencil in the pack.

Okay, this is confusing. I clicked on the github link, and there is a big page with a lot of similar files. Which one do I click on? They all (scrolling down) say "diff". So that is what is confusing me.

You shouldn't need to install anything. All reasonable desktop environments have everything needed. Just connect the phone, make sure it's in file transfer mode (phone settings) and the computer should recognize and mount it as a drive. Use the GUI file manager to do the transfer, just like any other file from any other drive.
