I hope I posted this in right forum.

I'm trying to add 1Password. Ideally, I'd like to have just the browser extension. But I'm more familiar with the program itself. So I went to the 1Password website (https://support.1password.com/install-linux/) and clicked on the link for Debian or Ubuntu. The program itself downloaded just fine. But when I try to open the package, it gives the following message:

"Requires changes in 1 other package. The following packages need to be installed: gnupg2"

I thought I'd a long-shot and was actually able to find 1Password in Software Manager. This was strange because a post on another forum site said it wouldn't be there.

Anyway, I'd like to see what other people say before I do anything else.

I think they withhold that file if you have'nt signed in/created an account

1password in the software manager is a flatpak, which includes all dependencies etc by default

Nope didn’t work.i signed-in and it still requires that one file. Should I go through software manager?

ok.....the Software Manager it is then !

maybe send them a chat from the page below...tell them what you encountered

My pleasure.
