Fedora DE

I am thinking of possibly getting Fedora (or arch) which desktop environment for fedora is the best.

I usually use MATE, but it doesn't really matter all that much, you can install all of the environments if you want. MATE, KDE, GNOME, XFce, etc... The Spin distros come with a certain desktop, but you can install any environment on any distro. Try them all.
