What does your disk partioning and lvm setup look like now? Type the command lsblk in the terminal if you don't know and paste the output here.

Red Hat is a paid for distribution with a subscription.

You should call Red Hat Customer Service to get the correct instructions to resize that partition.

I dont think i should call redhat for resizing it
Its like im using centos
What @Alexzee means is that since you are running RHEL you are also paying for a RHEL subscription which allows you to contact their support for anything you run into, so why not make them work for their money. Read the post before that ;)

sdc 8:32 0 800G 0 disk
└─sdc1 8:33 0 500G 0 part
─datavg-pgpetsrvdata_lv 253:12 0 150G 0 lvm /pgqdata/pgpetsrv/data

i extended the sdc to 800 go and the purose its to expend the sdc1 to 800 to extend the datavg-pgpetsrvdata_lv from 150 to 450

Im running rhel with no support subscription
Self support
You must have a developer subscription then?
Your disk(sdc) is 800G, it has one partition of 500G, you have a volume group with then name of datavg, and within that volume group you have a logical volume which is 150G with the name of pgpetsrvdata_lv. So you want to extend your logical volume from 150G to 450G from what I understand, is that correct? If so:
Code:
lvextend -L +300G /dev/datavg/pgpetsrvdata_lv -r

Size of logical volume datavg/pgpetsrvdata_lv unchanged from 150.00 GiB (38400 extents).
Logical volume datavg/pgpetsrvdata_lv successfully resized.
resize2fs 1.42.9 (28-Dec-2013)
The filesystem is already 39321600 blocks long. Nothing to do!

It doesnt work

That is not the output of the command vgs, could you please share all of the output of that command here as well as all of the output of the lsblk command because I want to see the overview of all of your disks and partioning not only the data volume group and volume, this way I know what your disk setup looks like so that I can actually help you figure this out.

So what i did i merged to vg and pvcreate then lvextend because i havent more space in the vg to expend the lv so its worked thx a lot
Yes that's how it's done. I'm not able to guess your disk and partitioning setup that's why I was asking you for that information. Glad that helped you figure out how to do the rest yourself.
