Didn't read every word of each comment above so I apologize if I'm repeating stuff already covered ...
Having had spotty glitches with both Ventoy and Balena Etcher over time, I finally picked up the lightweight isoimagewriter- at least on Arch it's in the "extra" repository. (Might need some KDE objects?)
Works flawlessly and has never missed a beat. I wound up uninstalling the others. Might want to give it a try.
