Error while installing Parrot home edition

put a more standard distro on like ubuntu, debian or mint and then try running parrot through a virtual machine. its much better anf headache free that way with kali and parrrot, they are not practical for daily use they make terrible main installs

Just a heads up on Parrot under BTRFS.

Timeshift's snapshot facility under BTRFS is not everyone's cup of tea, it is not very functional.

You are better off installing openSUSE's Snapper for such purposes, and this is available to other Distros, quite often being in their Repositories.

Two (2) ways to use - via Command Line, and via GUI.

In Ubuntu 21.10 'Impish Indri' this can be installed with the following

sudo apt install snapper

// and/or

sudo apt install snapper-gui
