Debian 7.2 AMD64 doesn’t boot from hard disk

I am fairly new to debian and trying to install it from CD.

Installation went without errors. After finishing installation is suggest to reboot using new created UEFI boot loader. Confirming restart having CD ejected it loads system successfully. Well, almost successfully, because graphics on terminal7 does not work, but command line on other terminals work fine, so that it is possible to login.

The problem is that right immediately after first boot went successfully when I am trying to reboot system second time it can not find boot records on the disk at all, and refuses to boot.
Please advise how to fight with that issue.

Hardware config:
New ASCER computer with Intel i7 processor, SATA UEFI 1TB hard disk

The list of issues I have:
1. System does not boot from hard drive;
2. terminal 7 shows blank black screen with cursor blinking on the top left corner.
3. Network card is not recognized: Intel Ethernet i217-V (but wireless network connection works fine instead).

Well, the first issue is just killer for me.

Additional comment about disk partitioning created by automatic installer:

Here is more info is coming during my investigation of this boot issue.
As expected if system CD is inserted then is boots from CD, and if CD is ejected it does not want to boot. But when computer just turned on and system is waiting several seconds before starting bootup I insert CD (or eject CD) then it actually can find disk boot records and starts booting from disk.
It is very unusual situation. What is happening? I am puzzled.

Last update on this topic is about how boot issue was resolved.

After about dozen unsuccessful attempts of formatting disk with various partitioning and boot locations it finally started booting from disk with partitioning: #1: 12.5GB swap; #2: 510 MB EFI boot; #3: 988 GB Ext4. For some reasons it did not want to boot when EFI boot is on 1st partition. It might be that Windows MBR is still there, but GRUB is loading fine.

After fixing this one it appears that the other issue became killer instead. It is Intel HD Graphics 4600. It seem like Intel does not supported it for Debian. To get Desktop working I have to switch to Ubuntu. Now it works and no problems with hardware.

Some Linux distros have issues with Acer hardware.

Secondly, you said in the title that it is Debian AMD64 and the hardware is an Intel chip. That may be the issue.
