Never used Deepin but you can check in settings if there's an option to change your splash screen.

Deepin uses the LightDM Display Manager. Chances are you have both LightDM and LightDM-Gtk-greeter in your start menu, try typing them there, or else type login screen.

If you get there, you can probably establish where the login wallpapers are stored, likely the same spot as your desktop wallpapers. You can then alter it, or add your own to the storage folder and switch to that.

I would advocate taking a snapshot with Timeshift before monkeying with the settings.

I likely can't help you further than that because I don't use Deepin.

Cheers

I wish there was a way to display .gif's on this forum. I make quiet a few animated avatars. My operating system is Linux Mint 21.3. I use (1) Irfanview (2) PhoXo and (3) Gimp to make the avatars. Irfanview and PhoXo are ran using wine.
Always,

You do realize that this thread is a different topic and more than three years old, yes?

LOL You might want to post a question in Forum Assistance. We do have people (one person, really) using animated .gif files for their emoticons. So, they might be able to help you out.

I do not believe .gif files as an avatar will work, though the software might actually allow it. I've just never checked. If it would work with what we've got, we could discuss that possibility. However, a lot of old, stodgey users don't want animated anything unless the specifically allow it - and we have myriad old and stodgey people. There could be some pushback on the subject.
