Hello there,
Previously on Manjaro I could easily plug in my Pixel 7 Pro (running GrapheneOS) and mount.
Now I've moved to Kubuntu, I get the following errors:

Malformed URL mtp:udi=/org/kde/solid/udev/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/usb2/2-3/.

and/or

unable to open MTP device 002,003

I've tried with USB debugging enabled and disabled. I've tried setting the phone to "MTP File Transfer". I've tried installing gMPT app (can't see connected device).

Any ideas? I see lots of discussion about this issue on other forums, but no concrete answers.

Thanks!

This happens on my phone sometimes. It seems that Linux wants to auto-mount my android phone.
Then it complains that it can't. But it puts a little android phone icon on my desktop.
If I click on this icon, it doesn't work.

However, if I got into my file explorer and find my phone, I can then copy files back and forth.
( I still have to turn on File Transfer on in USB options )

Lucky.. I can't even do that!

However I've found I can now access the phone via the Dolphin File Browser! .... Weird

I have the same problem. Dolphin File Browser is inadequate to my task.

I want to mount it for command line use. Any ideas? When I try this
# mount /dev/bus/usb/001/014 /pixel
mount: /pixel: /dev/bus/usb/001/014 is not a block device.

I'm disappointed. ;-)
