The IDE I liked best, and still use, has been unsupported for a few years. I have not seen another that has a particular feature that made me like it so much.
What I love about this now-unsupported IDE is the interface is completely styleable with CSS. I used it to color code projects. I liked it. This graphic shows the styling for directories for a particular project (the orange project).
I often have separate projects running forks of a particular file set. It is easy to edit files in the wrong projects because they all look the same. Color coding e file lists in projects made managing the projects easier. This image shows five projects set to different color code and how the color coding makes it easier to know which files you are looking at.
Is there a code editing platform available that does somethng liike that?
