Hi everyone, I'm glad to be here. Lately, I’ve been working on an old MacBook Pro, which, thanks to your developers, runs Debian 13, and I’m trying to get the most out of it in terms of both hardware and software. I’ve also started a blog (https://linuxverse.ddns.net/) where I’d like to share my experiences, and I’m curious to hear your opinions and ideas. The site is currently under construction and may not always be available. Thanks for visiting and support.

Awesome page! Since I assume you're not soooo long into linux and have skills, now would be the perfect time to create a Wiki, documenting your steps. So you can reproduce your steps later and share them with others. Just an Idea :)

Welcome to the bunch!

You'll like it here! I also run a Mac as well (M1-Asahi)
Glad to see these old Macs are being kept running /w Linux!

Welcome in! Very handsomely designed web site! My own is just a Wordpress.com site where they did all the work for me and I just chose from among preconfigured templates.

Thank you. I did my best to make sure it was worthy of such a great community. :) Don't worry about your website because the most important thing is all of your content, not just the visual elements.

Thanks for your reply. I'm curious to know which specific computer model and Linux distribution you're using, and how your experience compares to the original macOS. Mine has almost completely taken on the look and feel of macOS, both in appearance and functionality.
