ASUS Zenbook UM5606WA Laptop Not Compatible with CachyOS?

So I had to send my ASUS Zenbook S 16 UM5606WA laptop to the ASUS repair center because the screen wouldn't turn on and the system wasn't booting. I was running CachyOS. The ASUS technician got back to me and said that "the specific flavor of Linux you are running" has known software conflicts with both the built-in LCD backlight hardware and the AMD GPU.

Specifically, we identified two main conflicts causing the screen to go black:

• Plymouth (The Graphical Boot System): It cannot communicate with the backlight hardware when displaying the boot splash screens.
• Plasma (The Desktop/Login Manager): It encounters a similar communication conflict with the display hardware.

Because of these software bugs, the LCD backlight and the HDMI external display were failing immediately after the initial logo and boot menu screens.

They said they manually patched the configuration files in the Linux OS, but they warned that this issue could happen again if there's another system update or changes to the kernel.

I don't want this issue to happen again, but I don't know which Linux distro would be compatible with my hardware, and I don't want to go back to Windows. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Which Linux distro should I use? I was hoping to use my laptop for gaming, drawing, and general use.

I'm completely new to Linux and I'm not very tech-savvy.
