hi,

my system freezes and shuts down spontaneously, maybe it's my memory?
What can I do to get an idea? I add infos here to help, I have a msi x470 gaming plus max motherboard.
THANKS

Both CPU and GPU temps look fine, you have plenty of ram, my guess would be a graphics problem

Hello @james80,
Welcome to the Linux.org forums.
Yep, I would also suspect the Nvidia graphic card to be the problem. enable rpmfusion repositories and install the Nvidia driver for you card.

Choice is yours, if you're gaming or using high definition graphic applications then probably the G force, if not then the on chip Radeon is fine for most everyday usages
follow the instruction in the link provided by @kc1di and try the G force again, if not then try the Radeon

I've enabled the rpm fusion repo and install the nvidia driver :
Code:
dnf update -y
sudo dnf install xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-470xx akmod-nvidia-470xx

but still have nouveau as driver after reboot.... ?

Code:
sudo lshw -C video
[sudo] password for james:

I freeze the Nvidia driver, thinking what can it changed for a decade old MBP ? How wrong was I.
The Mac was up and down a few days until today, after upgrading the driver.
