sudo su

but still nothing
You don't need root prompt.
Please be more specific about the problem, it's not clear what your mean by "still nothing", does it mean that sudo su does not work, does it mean that apktool still requires privileges, or something else?

Please provide more information, e.g. screenshot of the output so that we can diagnose why it doesn't work.

I mean I begin my code with sudo su and when i type "apktool" is immediately returns

apktool
zsh: permission denied apktool

i then tried
chmod method and gave it permisions, but still no luck

i then removed the entire apktool but the problem still persist

apktool is used for reverse engineering, do you know anything about assembly?

I can't reproduce your problem I've just tested it without sudo in Kali and it works fine, it shown options to use:
Which Kali do you use and on which hardware?

yes I understand what you have just sent me but it doesnt succumb to my problem

could it be zsh its self or what?

does this forum cover kali?

My screenshot is zsh, so no.

yes I understand what you have just sent me but it doesnt succumb to my problem

Then please answer the question I have asked you in previous post:
Which Kali do you use and on which hardware?

This is Kali sub-forums, answers if any however depend on how well you construct your question and how much information about your environment you provide including any additional context if needed.

Please provide screenshot of apktool run in zsh so that it shows output of the command, if you don't do this I'll assume your report as fake.
