This may be a dumb questing, but as someone who doesn't entirely understand enterprise linux and community rebuilds... I don't really understand. Why does RHEL have two clones and there aren't any community rebuilds of Suse linux? Does anyone have any idea as to why this might be?

Open Suse Leap is the clone I believe it's at version 16,0 now. It pretty much follow open suse enterprise.

No question is dumb, CosmicWonder:- :)

Questions are exactly how the Linux driven men and women here today have become successful in the enterprise and with Linux in general.

Aside from the alternatives Rocky Linux and Alma Linux......there's
'Spiral Linux'. It was created by one of the developers that maintained Gecko Linux.

Another distro that comes to mind that is RH based is "Mageia"
