Hi.
I'm sorry if a similar question has been asked before, but I cant seem to find a answer that is good enough.
I have a Lenovo R61i with Intel Pentium T2370 (dual-core), 4 GB of RAM and a 40 GB SSD. My question is which Linux would be best for my laptop? I'm currently running Windows 8.1 64-bit, but it isn't really fast, and feels sluggish.
I have looked at some, but can't decide which Linux would be best:
Lubuntu, XFCE, CrunchBang, Bodhi and Mint. Any other recommendation is very welcome.
I study computer science, so a good bash scripting environment is necessary. By that I mean have all of the most common commands available. I currently run Slacko Puppy, or what it's called, and it's missing some usefuls commands, like tree and such.
Some input would be appreciated!
