Hi,

I am trying to install xubuntu 18.04, but the new 6.0 VBox GA file is locked. I've done quite a bit of research online but cant find the solution. I figured it out a few months back when i installed mint; but got hacked and had to blow out my pc, so i am on the Kali now. But i wanted to do some testing with xubuntu. So i am trying to install it but that tiny screen wont do. If anyone has suggestions on how to get GA working i would really appreciate it.

Respectfully,

I do this on Debian install VirtualBox and Guest Additions :
VirtualBox:
Code:
dpkg -i virtualbox-6.0_6.0.12-133076~Debian~stretch_amd64.deb
Guest Additions:
Code:
apt install linux-headers-$(uname -r)
Code:
apt install build-essential
After installing Debian in vBox, go Drives and Insert Guesr Adittions image CD.
You are copying files to home, some folder:
Code:
chmod +x VBoxLinuxAdditions.run
Code:
sh ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run
Restart
