I finally have a full install on a functional computer.

Now I have a lot questions about the things I want to do. Every time I look something up, I see something new and then I have even more questions! I'm getting really tired. I keep finding myself at an open window and can't remember why I went there.

Give yourself a break and just start using your new Linux install.

No need to wear yourself out.

Some of your questions may be answered as you are using your new Linux install.

The Wife had a lot of questions when she started using Linux but decided to just use it and see what happened.

As a Teacher, you likely know students should not be sent to school without having a substantial breakfast first.

Your Linux ain't going anywhere.

Eat meals at regular times.
If you have a complex operation to perform, do it when you are fresh enough to follow instructions or steps.
Take notes, written or computer.
Save browser bookmarks with easily understood names and organise them.

I switch off the computer 3 hours before I go to bed, works for me.

Save browser bookmarks with easily understood names and organise them.

My browser has more bookmarks than I can count for this very reason. Saving things, being organized and meticulous notes have saved my butt more than once.
