Tiny font size in some apps

OS: Updated Arch
Window Manager: Qtile
Desktop dual monitor

Hello, I have the issue that in some apps the fonts are microscopic.

Gimp:

lxappearence:

Emacs:

By changing the .config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini it just change the fonts and icons in other apps.

Changing the resolution with xrandr don't solve the problem.

Can somebody please help me?

That problem is not native to Qtile.
My machine is the same way on single monitor.

I’ve used qtile in the past, but not for very long. I’ve literally only test driven it a few times.

This looks like it’s on a monitor with a really high resolution. So maybe some kind of application-level scaling is required, to compensate for the high dpi?!

All of my monitors are pretty low resolution by modern standards, so I’ve never seen this kind of issue myself. So I don’t know the exact solution offhand. And I can’t be bothered to DuckDuckGo-fu it right now!

i experienced all kinds of weird issues with kde arch, all dissappeared with gnome since themeing is limited
