Hello, can anyone help me with:
ping: www.google.com: Temporary failure in name resolution
When I try to ping 8.8.8.8 it's working fine and I can't figure what the problem might be. Currently I'm using wpa_supplicant which is connected to my Android hotspot and I can confirm that I see the device is properly connected.
Assuming it's a DNS problem I tried setting /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/base to cloudflare dns servers but it didn't work. Also I tried setting the dns-nameservers in the /etc/network/interfaces but that didn't work as well. (Obviously I restarted the services and the system when I made these changes)
This is on Debian distribution if that matters. Thanks.
