Greetings all,

Not sure if it's appropriate (let me know if it's not) to post my issue/query below relating to Foxclone.

I use Foxclone extensively for my Linux Mint desktop and laptop and for my partner's Window 10 computer and it always works well with no problems backing up both Linux Mint OS and Windows 10 OS either to onboard HDDs or removable SSDs. However, my neighbour has recently acquired a Windows 11 computer and I have successfully backed up her Windows 11 OS to an external SSD but Foxclone will not do the same to an onboard HDD.

I realise that I am in the Windows 11 (shudder) realm asking this but my basic understanding of Foxclone is that it is not concerned about the OS because it works external to the OS.

Thank you

Solved!! After I determined that Foxclone or me using Foxclone was not the problem with help from comrades, I then looked into the Windows biosphere and found that this is also a problem in Windows when Fast Startup is enabled. I unchecked the appropriate box and now Foxclone and Redorescue works prefectly. Cheers
