Hello guys, I'm facing a problem in my Samba server.
It works very well, but when I try to download an image I can't save it directly on my samba server, I have to save the photo on my computer first and then copy and paste the file in the server.
When I try to save in the server it gave me back the error
"You don't have the necessary permissions to save the file."
But when I try to save another kind of file like a .txt it works without any problem. It happen only with images
How can I fix this?

Was this an existing server setup or did you configure samba?

I get people complaining sometimes because I block some files from being saved using the "veto files" directive.

You can check your smb.conf for that directive to ensure it's not preventing those files from being saved.

An example of what it might look like:
Code:
veto files = /.smbdelete*/.DS_Store/Thumbs.db/

I use the above to prevent MacOS from saving .smbdelete and .DS_Store files and Windows from saving Thumbs.db files. Something similar could be used to prevent image files from being saved.
