Hi,
I have ubutu 12.4 ,and I'm trying to run a simple RPC program using rpcgen
I installed rpcbind ,and rpcinfo shows the following :
program version netid address service owner
100000 4 tcp6 ::.0.111 portmapper superuser
100000 3 tcp6 ::.0.111 portmapper superuser
100000 4 udp6 ::.0.111 portmapper superuser
100000 3 udp6 ::.0.111 portmapper superuser
100000 4 tcp 0.0.0.0.0.111 portmapper superuser
100000 3 tcp 0.0.0.0.0.111 portmapper superuser
100000 2 tcp 0.0.0.0.0.111 portmapper superuser
100000 4 udp 0.0.0.0.0.111 portmapper superuser
100000 3 udp 0.0.0.0.0.111 portmapper superuser
100000 2 udp 0.0.0.0.0.111 portmapper superuser
100000 4 local /run/rpcbind.sock portmapper superuser
100000 3 local /run/rpcbind.sock portmapper superuser
100024 1 udp 0.0.0.0.220.5 status 115
100024 1 tcp 0.0.0.0.211.176 status 115
100024 1 udp6 ::.159.0 status 115
100024 1 tcp6 ::.205.185 status 115
When I run the program server +client nothing happen , the server doesn't print any message as it's supposed to do!
What might be the cause?
Thanks,
Nada
